Born in Mysore. Built by volunteers. Driven by belief that meaningful change starts close to home
Who We Are
Community Care Global Foundation (CCGF) is a charitable organisation established in Mysuru, working towards stronger, more inclusive and resilient communities.
We believe lasting community development begins with people, participation and collaboration. We bring together volunteers, educational institutions, professionals, community groups and partner organisations to develop initiatives that respond to local needs and create opportunities for learning and positive change.
Our work spans education and life skills, positive mental health, community wellbeing, youth and women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, rural and community development, responsible travel and cultural exchange. We carry these areas forward through practical initiatives, community engagement, volunteering and partnerships — giving people and communities the chance to learn, participate, gain skills and contribute to positive change.
Whether you’re a student seeking your first volunteer experience, a professional looking to contribute, or a community leader ready to take action, there’s a place for you here. We believe meaningful change grows stronger through partnership, participation and shared responsibility.
Rooted in Karnataka, CCGF is progressing steadily through local engagement and partnerships, with a long-term vision of connecting with and contributing to communities across India and around the world.
Our Approach
We start where you are
We don’t parachute into communities with pre-packaged solutions. Our work begins with listening — whether that’s in a Mysore classroom, a rural village near Tumakuru, or an urban centre facing mental health stigma.
From there, we co-design programmes with local stakeholders, schools, families, and volunteers who understand the context best. This isn’t our agenda imposed from outside; it’s what the community asks for, delivered at a pace and style that respects local culture and needs.
We are committed to integrating education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and rural development as interconnected pieces of one ecosystem.
A student struggling with anxiety gets counselling, yes — but also access to vocational training, safe learning environments, and peer networks.
A village needing medical care also gets water systems, tree planting, and women’s skill development.
When you treat problems separately, you get fragmented solutions. When you treat people holistically, change sticks.
We believe impact is earned through evidence, not claimed through good intentions. Every programme we run includes built-in feedback loops: volunteers trained in crisis intervention, periodic evaluations with beneficiaries, annual audits by chartered accountants, and transparent reporting to donors and government bodies.
Our Exchange Program specifically documents knowledge sharing across borders so practices learned in Karnataka can be adapted elsewhere, and lessons from global mental health NGOs inform our local work. We’re here to build something sustainable — not just launch initiatives and move on.
01.
— Our Mission
We imagine a world where no student faces anxiety alone, no village lacks access to healthcare, and no community’s potential goes untapped. By 2030, we see ourselves as a bridge between local action and global solutions — a trusted partner for governments, schools, and NGOs across India and beyond, where care has no boundaries and opportunity isn’t dictated by geography or circumstance.
02.
— Our Vision
We mobilise volunteers, partners, and resources to deliver mental health support, quality education, healthcare access, and sustainable development to underserved communities. Through school programmes, rural outreach, international exchanges, and cross-sector collaborations, we turn awareness into action and good intentions into measurable outcomes — because every child deserves a teacher, every patient deserves care, and every person deserves dignity.
03.
— Our Story
Community Care Global Foundation was founded in July 2024 in Mysore by three individuals who refused to wait for systems to change before they started helping. From small beginnings — a workshop in Tumakuru, a medical camp near Hassan, a counselling session in a college classroom — we’ve grown into a movement spanning education, health, environment, and rural development across Karnataka. But we haven’t changed our core belief: real impact starts when you stop asking for permission and start acting alongside the people you serve. Today, that story continues through hundreds of volunteers, dozens of partner institutions, and thousands of lives touched — and it’s only just beginning.
